We’ll finally get our first look at gameplay footage from Sony’s heavily rumoured mascot mash-up PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale this Thursday.
Host Geoff Keighley prompted speculation when he teased a massive “PS3 exclusive” would debut on this week’s episode of GTTV – but the announcement has been all but confirmed today with a promo trailer revealing new studio SuperBot Entertainment as the developer.
The US studio has been linked to Battle Royale – originally named Title Fight – since late last year, when images of an in-development version of Sweet Tooth’s character model were leaked.
Since then, Sony has registered domain names for the brawler and more.

Wow, now this could be huge. How about make it a Vita exclusive. Vita needs a defibrillator at the moment and STAT!
@Corbs It's going to be a PS3 game. I wouldn't rule out a Vita port or sequel if this one does well though.
Off topic, but I wish Sony would show some sort of love for the Vita by making a first party game like this remote-playable. If their excuse for remote play being awful is that it's up to the developers to go back and make a title work with remote play, what's their excuse for their future first party games?

Im exicted about this and i realy hope its cross platform wiht PS3 and Vita. You know Cole MacGrath will be in it. Sly Cooper, maybe even Crash Bamdicoot. it would be cool to see Good and Evil Jak
It could be really good but I doubt it will be better than Super Smash Bros.
@craigmoss19 I kinda hope this plays completely differently to Smash Bros. I'm secretly hoping for something like Power Stone. We'll see.

And yeah, I agree that the Vita needs revival. I turned mine on today...to download Skype. Whoopee. Just waiting for Gravity Rush...
I do hope its different and easy to pick up atleast.

My only fear for this game is that it will only include newer Sony characters and forget the classics from the PSX/PS2 era...
