Lost Planet 3 Revealed, Due for 2013 Release

Ahead of the game
The embargo on information from Capcom's recent Captivate 2012 hasn't even ended yet and we already know there'll be a Lost Planet 3 coming to PS3 in 2013.
The game is being developed by Spark Unlimited, the team responsible for Turning Point: Fall of Liberty and Legendary. It might not have the best pedigree, but Blue Castle Games did a decent job with Dead Rising 2 after a history of only baseball games. We won't talk about Slant Six and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.
Expect more very, very soon.

Lost Planet is one of my absolute favorite games. I even have a giant stuffed Gordiant named Sir Om Nom Nom I won from capcom for being such a big fan! I just hope these developers don't ruin the series. Oh, and I'd love to see a portable rendition of LP on either Vita or 3DS! :3

Yeah, I LOVED LP2 but was very disappointed with Capcom. I felt they abandoned it way too early. That game more than most others in the generation would have benefited from DLC (not just boss rush..). I hope LP3 isn't just spit out to make a quick buck and than left in the cold...
