Sound Shapes has come a long way since it was first unveiled at E3 last year. In a new video, anchored by Queasy Games’ Jason deGroot, the developer has shown off a couple of new environments from the final game, including a kind of space level where players get to take control of a UFO.

Don’t worry, the music hook is still present, but it looks as though the game has been given a serious layer of polish since its debut just under 12 months ago.

There’s still no date attached to the hotly anticipated Vita exclusive, but Queasy Games has confirmed that Sound Shapes will get a demo ahead of its release. We’re not sure that’s going to sate your anticipation for the full game too much, but hey, at least it’ll help to convince those still sitting on the fence.
