Sample Some of the Sounds from Lollipop Chainsaw

Posted by Sammy Barker

Bloody good

Could Lollipop Chainsaw possibly be any cooler? Not only is it borne out of the twisted mind of Killer 7’s Suda 51, but it also has Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill) and the dude from Mindless Self Indulgence providing the soundtrack.

In this brand new behind the scenes trailer you can watch the two composers talk about their inspirations for the soundtrack in front of an appropriately placed mixing desk. Seriously though, some of the tunes sound absolutely amazing.

We’re not quite sure how Grasshopper keeps getting its projects funded, but with Warner Bros really backing this one, we think Lollipop Chainsaw stands a chance at becoming the developer’s most successful project yet. About time, too.

I loved No more Heroes 2. It was so much fun, and really brought a old school beatem up feel. Loved the mini games. I got the game brand new off amazon for 10 bucks I think. Well worth it.

Anyways when I see this game I think of no more heroes and I cant wait! By the way is that Papa Shango?

@Play_It_Loud - LOL it does look like Papa Shango.

As for the game I do think it will be good but not sure it will be worth $60. I might just rent it or wait for the price to drop.

It is the more awesomely silly game I have seen in ages. I agree I may not pick it up at $60, but we'll see. Definitely want to play it.
