Ridge Racer Unbounded Delayed Indefinitely in the US

Posted by Sammy Barker

No date in sight

Namco Bandai’s confirmed that it’s keeping Ridge Racer Unbounded, er, bounded for the foreseeable future. Following on from the game’s European delay, the publisher has announced that the racing reboot will not launch in North America until “later in 2012”. That doesn’t sound very promising, does it?

A new release date is coming “shortly” promises Namco Bandai, in addition to news about pre-order incentives and game features. In the meantime, you’ll just have to wait things out. We’ve heard staring at pictures of Reiko Nagase is a good way to kill time.

Well, it doesn't sound good, but I'd rather them get it right than get it out now. Let's face it, the Ridge Racer train hasn't exactly been flying down the tracks smoothly as of late. :D

@Corbs Ridge Racer... flying down the tracks. Actually, that pretty much sums up its problem I think.
