Last week we tried our very best to explain why you should have PixelJunk 4am on your radar, but it’s a hard game to describe using words. The music creation suite – which uses PlayStation Move to allow you to manipulate sounds in 3D space – demands some visual (and audio) context in order to highlight its genius, and thankfully Sony’s delivered with a new video demonstration anchored by Q-Games’ Rowan Parker.

In the video, Parker shows off all of PixelJunk 4am’s core features – from selecting sound loops in 3D space, to manipulating those sounds using various gestures. If you’ve any interest in music production – or you enjoyed Codemasters’ Music series on the original PlayStation – then PixelJunk 4am should absolutely be on your wishlist.
