New The Last of Us Screenshots Surface

Naughty Dog’s pulled back the curtain on a new batch of screenshots for its upcoming survival horror title, The Last of Us. The shots show protagonists Joel and Ellie exploring a variety of partially demolished urban settings.

It’s not all happy hunting for the duo though, as they’re pinned back by an aggressive group of survivors. One shot shows youngster, Ellie, about to cave open the skull of an armed villain with a house brick.

It all looks delightfully dark, yet packed with the same kind of charm we’ve come to expect from Naughty Dog over the years. There’s still no date attached to The Last of Us, but we’re confident it’ll arrive this year.
