Japanese Sales Charts: One Piece Still on Top

Namco Bandai’s rip-roaring PlayStation 3 exclusive One Piece: Pirate Musou has enjoyed a second week at the top of the Japanese sales charts after blowing the doors off the week prior. Despite selling way over 500k units last week, the PS3 release still managed to rustle up another 90,133 sales, bringing its overall tally close to the coveted million mark.

Elsewhere Street Fighter X Tekken debuted in third, while Zipper Interactive’s PS Vita exclusive Unit 13 entered in 15th.

The PlayStation 3 managed to sell a further 34,816 units on the back of One Piece’s continued success, while the Vita avoided dropping below the dreaded 10k mark by selling a whopping – wait for it – 18 units more than the week prior.

Seems like that Vita Game Heaven event paid off after all.
