The Internet was whipped into a frenzy yesterday when Amazon cancelled pre-orders for Vanillaware’s upcoming PlayStation 3 and PS Vita action game Dragon’s Crown.
It’s been a while since we heard any new information about the title, leading many anticipant gamers to expect the worst. But illustrator Shigatake took to Twitter to reassure fans with the following message:
I personally can't say much, but I'll just say, regarding Dragons Crown, although there are lots of rumours and conjecture, it's still in development. Please wait patiently for an official update.
Hopefully publisher Ignition reveals some new information about the game soon. A new trailer would certainly help ease the wait, huh?

I am so looking forward to this, having both Odin Sphere and Muramasa, this one has me giddy as it's Vanillaware's first HD game!
Im buying this one day one. ive read about it through countless odin sphere reviews, didnt realize this was it. This is good stuff, please dont get cancelled i have to have this
