Excuse us while we go and do some celebratory hand-stands in our back-garden: thatgamecompany has announced that it has completed development on the hotly anticipated Journey.
The flOw and flower developer hinted at the game’s completion on Twitter, before being pushed by Shacknews for more details. thatgamecompany boss, Jenova Chen, confirmed that the game was completed, but a release date was yet to be assigned to the title.
He said:
Once Sony figures out the right time [to release the game] they will announce it. I assume pretty soon.
Journey is easily one of our most anticipated games of the year. We can’t wait to begin our poignant pilgrimage.

Finally! I could never believe a downloadable game could take this long to develop. Now I hope it's been worth the wait...
Finally! I have been waiting for this game for a long time I was getting tired of always reading about it and no word on when it would be done. And the right time to release it is next Tuesday because I and a lot of other people have been waiting a while for this game.

Played this at last years Eurogammer I loved it something differant from just blasting everything....although that is fun too
