Terrible name, potentially brilliant table

You have to admire developer Zen Studios for its commitment to expansion. Zen Pinball has been available on the PlayStation Store for almost three years now, and it’s still playing host to some great DLC.

What’s even more incredible is that with each new download, the developer’s ambitions get that little bit greater. Take the latest table, Epic Quest, which combines the world of pinball with an RPG.

Zen Studios’ Mel Kirk explained:

It is our quest to deliver the most entertaining and original pinball tables, and Epic Quest delivers on both fronts. With a wink and a nudge towards classic RPG tropes, Epic Quest blends frantic pinball action, obsessive character building, and liberally applied tongue-in-cheek humour.

In fact, it’s slightly more clever than that. As you play, you’ll earn experience points and loot which can be carried forward from one game to the next. Players will face terrifying monsters, which can be defeated to unlock new gear.

Why hasn't this been done before?
