Talk about timing

We had a horrible thought this morning that Twisted Metal might get delayed in the UK. After all, the game's US Valentine's Day release date was announced a long time ago, but SCEE has kept relatively tight-lipped about the car-combat title's launch overseas.

Better late than never though, as the platform holder's just confirmed to MCV that the Eat Sleep Play developed racer will powerslide into UK retailers on February 17th — the same week as its American counterpart.

Those that pick-up a first-edition copy of the game will be granted a downloadable voucher for the PlayStation 2 favourite, Twisted Metal: Black.

Man, February is going to be crazy.
