com</a> proprietor, CheapyD, is set to join the cast of the bananas open-world game.

As explained by the man himself, PlayStation 3 gamers will be able to grab the "character" for free from the PlayStation Store next week.

Bafflingly, CheapyD recorded "hundreds of unique lines and dialogue" as part of his cameo. You'll need to have unlocked Shaundie's ex-boyfriend's apartment in the campaign before you can call on CheapyD's help, but that comes after a fairly early mission.

We hope this sets a new precedent for bizarre gaming cameos in the future. We reckon the GiantBomb guys are a shoo-in for Saints Row 4.
