Sumioni: Demon Arts is going to look proper pretty on PS Vita's screen.

It's announced plans overnight to publish quirky PlayStation Vita platformer, Sumioni: Demon Arts, next Spring in the West.

Sumioni puts players in control of an ink demon, fighting through a watercolour landscape. The game uses traditional button controls for movement and platforming, and combines that with the touch screen, allowing players to create new platforms and perform special moves. Which is an awesome mechanic, perfectly suited to the PS Vita's interface.

There's a trailer after the jump. The game looks neat. Major props to XSEED for bringing these kind of games to a new audience.
