Seeing as Dead Rising 3 isn't officially announced yet, here's a generic image pertaining to the series.

Siliconera claims that Rick is an auto mechanic who finds himself trapped in a locked down zombie infested town. With the government ensuring that nobody leaves the city, Rick and a group of survivors have other ideas, and embark upon an adventure which sees them restoring an old aircraft before Los Perdidos is obliterated by a bomb blast.

It certainly sounds like a Dead Rising plot; there's room for a punishing time limit and plenty of survivor stories based on that short summary.

Earlier in the week Capcom released a teaser on Dead Rising's official Facebook page, hinting at a new adventure starring former protagonist Frank West.
