Yep, PSN means download only. Plus, I heard that the prices will have a range, with some as low as $10, which sounds like a great step for games in general.

About the lineup, objectively this is the kind of launch EVERY company releasing a new console should model. Putting out this many games is exactly what they should all aim for. The quality and genre range in this list is maddening, in the best way possible :D

Army Corps of Hell looks interesting, but I think I will wait for Heroes of Ruin first. Wonder why/if really this will come out before from Square. I agree that no LBP is ridiculous, must be a mistake. Kind of a "meh" list for me.

At first I was like "Oh, Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Escape Plan on day 1, may need to get a Vita".

Then I was like "OMG PLANTS VS. ZOMBIES I NEED TO GET A VITA!" I'm a big PVZ fan myself.

Over all this is a zilion times better than the 3DS launch, as all the good games i'm interested in are on day uno.

I'm looking for games that the 3DS can't or won't do, aka 1st person shooters. I see a whopping one on that list.

Ok, I'll cut Sony a break a talk up some games that look cool as h-e-l-l-double hockey stick:

  • Escape plan: cute and sinister. each death is morbidly hilarious
  • Gravity Rush: it ain't 3D. So why do I get nausea from walking up walls?
  • Rayman Origins: gots fun use of Vita's non button functions
