Japanese gamers will have to wait a little while to get their Assegai on.

But it looks like Sony's decided to spread out its initial Japanese launch lineup just a touch, pushing the Studio Liverpool developed futuristic racer into January.

According to Famitsu, the game will now hit Japanese store shelves a month after PlayStation Vita's release on January 19th. It'll be joined by Tales Of Innocence R in the same month.

Sony also attached a February date to Team Siren's hotly anticipated cel-shaded platformer, Gravity Daze.

It seems like Sony's keen to make sure there's a good amount of content spread out across PlayStation Vita's post-launch period, which makes a lot of sense. Droughts are typically a huge problem each time a new system launches — so let's hope Sony can keep the quality content flowing.
