Pre-purchase a bunch of Saints Row: The Third's DLC with a Season Pass.

So nowadays publishers want to sell you all of a game's DLC in advance. Call Of Duty's doing it with Elite, Uncharted's doing it with the Fortune Hunters' Club, and now Saints Row: The Third's doing it too.

Dubbed as the Saints Row Season Pass, the discounted subscription will net you four pieces of premium The Third DLC over the span of a few months. You'll get three mission packs: Genkibowl VII, Gangstas In Space and The Trouble With Clones, as well as the Nytle Blayde DLC pack which includes a "vampire hunting sports car".

The Season Pass will run you $19.99, promising a 15% discount compared to purchasing the same content a la carte. Which makes it really hard to get up-in-arms about this practice. If you're committed to a game and you really enjoy it — why not pre-purchase the DLC up front for a discount? As long as the content is of a high quality, then it seems like a totally reasonable practice to us. Beneficial, even.

Are we doing it wrong?
