Who in Japan would want to play Uncharted: Golden Abyss?

If the sales performance of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is anything to go by, then a lot of people. Media Create's released its weekly sales figures for the Japanese region, showing Naughty Dog's latest release in second position on the sales charts after scooping up sales of almost 125k units. That's a whopper for a shooter in Japan.

Battlefield 3 fared equally impressively on PS3, almost matching Drake's outing with similarly staggering sales of just over 123k.

Sadly, strong performance from PS3 and PSP software did nothing to increase either platform's hardware fortunes, with both systems steady around the 27k mark. The release of Super Mario 3D Land meant that Nintendo's new system dominated the charts, despite software being largely accommodated by PlayStation releases.
