It's weeks like these that make us consider not posting the Media Create sales charts.

Hardware sales were down after the enthusiasm of new colours last week, with the PlayStation 3 shifting 34k units and the PSP just behind with 33k units.

After its tremendous debut last week, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 dropped to tenth in the all formats charts, selling a respectable 29k units. Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch continued to struggle in thirteenth.

The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword dominated the software charts, although PlayStation software still accounted for more than half of the spots on offer. The PSP's 7th Dragon 2020 and PS3's Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle both had strong debuts, while the Metal Gear Solid HD Edition settled for fifth.
