The Hatsune Miku series continues to post strong numbers in Japan.

The title sold 184k units, easily beating out its nearest competitor Sengoku Basara 3 Utage on PS3 which managed 124k units. Sony's remake of classic PlayStation RPG Oreshika occupied the third spot, selling 94k units.

Elsehwhere Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition didn't get off to the best start, debuting in seventh on PS3 with just 39k units sold.

Meanwhile it was a steady week for PlayStation hardware, with both PSP and PS3 shifting numbers in the region of 23k units. Nintendo's 3DS once again stole the crown, despite having just two titles in the top-ten.
