The re-imagined PlayStation Home brings gaming to the forefront.

PlayStation Home has been going through a subtle transformation for a good 12 months now, shunning some of the social emphasis of its early iterations and transforming into a much more gaming focused platform.

The culmination of that starts today, with the launch of the new PlayStation Home. The redesigned service puts gaming first, attempting to shun the perception that there's "nothing to do" in the virtual world. A variety of new districts — Action, Sportswalk, Adventure and Indie Park — will all provide relevant and targeted content, pulling players into the action much more immediately.

We imagine the new PlayStation Home still won't appeal to everyone's personal preferences, but we still urge you to check it out. At least then we can put an end to the bitter forum posts. At least for a couple of days.
