Hell Yes, SEGA's Confirmed Yakuza: Dead Souls For A March 2012 Release.

SEGA's just announced that it's bringing Yakuza: Of The End to Europe and North America under the new title Yakuza: Dead Souls. The game — which sees the franchise's famous Kamurocho district invaded by the undead — will release in March 2012 with its full plot in-tact and a new mini-game called Pachislot.

"Players will face armies of the undead, incredibly powerful mutants, and the treacherous Japanese underworld. Playing through the eyes of four of the most revered members of the series, witness allegiances shift quickly, and the line between friend and foe lost. If you thought zombies were bad…meet the Yakuza," reads SEGA's official pitch.

We've already played a bunch of the import version of Yakuza Of The End, and can vouch for it. What it lacks in great gunplay, it more than makes up for in general stupidity. This is a game with its tongue firmly placed in cheek. And don't worry — the inclusion of zombies hasn't deterred from the series trademark storytelling techniques.

“We know how much people love Yakuza in the West, and with Dead Souls being the latest and greatest in the franchise, it’s only right we bring it to them closer to the Japanese release than ever," said SEGA marketing executive Gary Knight.

Regular readers will know how much we love the Yakuza series. We're finding it difficult to type amongst all the dancing and screaming. Seriously, thank you so much SEGA.

There's a trailer after the jump. Yessssssssssssss.
