The PlayStation Vita will launch on December 17th domestically.
Sony reiterated that the Wi-Fi version of the device will retail for ¥24,980, while the 3G version will be ¥29,980. NTT DoCoMo will be the 3G carrier for the device in Japan, offering various pre-paid options for the device: ¥980 for 20 hours (roughly £8 / $12) or ¥4,980 for 100 hours (roughly £40 / $65).
