Sony's Offered To Replace The PSP Stolen From An Injured Man During This Week's Riots Across England.

Footage — which has since gone viral — showed an injured young man being helped to his feet by thugs, before having his possessions ruthlessly removed from his rucksack. The man — who's since been identified as Ashraf Haziq, a twenty year-old student from Malaysia — lost his PlayStation Portable as a result of the theft.

Posting on a website set up to support the youngster, SCEE's marketing director Alan Duncan said that the firm would like to offer Ashraf a replacement PSP alongside a selection of games.

Bizarrely, you can watch footage of the theft after the jump. Warning: this video is almost certain to make your blood boil.

Sony itself was hit by the riots in London, with one of its main distribution warehouses being burnt to the ground.
