Fast Draw Showdown Takes Ten Paces and Shoots for PSN

Posted by James Newton

Due out in July

We've already seen Fast Draw Showdown on WiiWare, and now publisher Digital Leisure is bringing the Wild West game rootin' and tootin' to PSN in July.

Fast Draw Showdown is a conversion of the gunslinging arcade original, with 720p video and PlayStation Move controls as well as online leaderboards and rewards for your PlayStation Home avatar.

Fast Draw Showdown is due out in July on PSN.

When it comes to fast draw there're only two types of people: the quick…and the dead!
Now you have the chance to find out where you stand, or lie, as the case may be. Go up against the best quick draws in the business, including one of the world’s fastest, Wes Flowers. Unholster your PlayStation®Move motion controller and show'em all who the fastest draw really is.

One-by-one you'll get to take out these vicious gunslingers, and start climbing the worldwide online Leaderboards. You can also bring a friend along to play ‘Quickdraw’ and ‘Showdown’ multiplayer modes and see which one of you really has the fastest hands in the west. As you begin to show the townspeople who the best in the west really is, you’ll be awarded with exclusive western clothing to outfit your PlayStation®Home avatar.

Serious speed and awesome accuracy is needed to take on the best of these gunslingers…so get ready for some real fast draw action!

Other exciting Fast Draw features for this PSN release include:
720p HD Remastered Video
Online Leaderboards
Exclusive Fast Draw PlayStation®Home Rewards
Trophy Support
PlayStation®Move Required
All-New Scoring System

Any word on a FULL Cowboy Western game where you use the Nav Controller to move around and the Move as your revolver? Like a complete western game?

Of the things that came to my mind when I saw Sultry Selena in that trailer, shooting her wasn't one of them!

For some reason this game reminds me of the many, many hours I played this years ago!
