It's A Bumper Month For PlayStation Plus And Everyone's Invited.

As Sony is giving a 30-day free trial to all PSN members, we're sure this month's update is going to carry a little bit more interest than usual, so let's get to it.

First of all Sony's confirmed that PlayStation Plus subscribers before April 21st will be getting an additional 70-days added to their account. Sony had previously promised an additional 60-days, but due to the Store return being later than planned are offering an extra 10-days for free. That's pretty nice of them actually.

Of course, all PlayStation Network users will get access to the PlayStation Plus content this month, though Sony does point out this offer will exclude "mid-month treats". So basically, if you're not already a subscriber, you're just getting the main content from this month's PlayStation Plus update.

But that's ok because it's a really good month: Burnout Paradise, Magic The Gathering: Duels Of The Planeswalkers, and Streets Of Rage II are the free PSN titles. Sony's also giving out James Pond 2: Codename Robocod and a couple of Minis. There's a bunch of discounts and free themes up for grabs too. It's a good month.

Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will also get an extra two weeks to pick up last month's content, which is listed on the PlayStation Blog.

Sony's promising a stellar month for PlayStation Plus subscriptions. If you're part of the "free-trial" crew, we hope this swings your impression on the service because we've been getting a lot out of it this past year.
