When we first heard The Darkness was getting a sequel, we were a bit like, "Yeah whatever?" We liked the original game a fair amount, but never considered it a classic like many others do
That said, we were wrong to be so dismissive of The Darkness II. This new trailer for the sequel looks pretty impressive. We adore the new graphic novel visual style that developers Digital Extremes have implemented.
Check out the trailer after the jump, it's well worth it. The game's due out in October and should be well worth keeping an eye on.
