Konami has confirmed that the upcoming PlayStation Vita exclusive, Silent Hill: Book Of Memories, will be the first title in the survival horror franchise to feature online multiplayer

No hard details were shared by Konami, but we're a touch nervous about the addition.

We were hoping Book Of Memories would be a narrative driven experience enhanced by PlayStation Vita's touch controls. Multiplayer is a worrying prospect for a survival horror game, but we'll remain optimistic until we get more details.

In truth, we just want Silent Hill: Shattered Memories again. Konami should just re-release that game every year. We'd buy it.
