If You Purchase Rockstar's L.A. Noire Pass You'll Get Access To All Of The Game's DLC.

A. Noire</a> this afternoon, a nifty method of keeping the primarily single-player title out of used game stores. The service will essentially allow players to "pre-purchase" all of L.A. Noire's upcoming DLC for $10. The content will still be available a la carte, but will cost you 50% more that way.

Rockstar's got seven pieces of DLC in the works, each of which will be made available for free if you buy the pass. The previously retailer exclusive "A Naked City" and "Slip Of The Tongue" cases will be made available first. They will be joined by The Badge Pursuit Challenge and the Sharpshooter and Broderick detective suits. Through June and July Rockstar will release an additional two cases called the "Nichlson Electroplating Disaster" and "Reefer Madness". If you choose not to purchase a "Pass", the cases will be available separately for $4.00 a pop.

Phew. Kinda complicated huh? Essentially all you need to know is that the "Pass" gets you access to all of the DLC, which is cheaper than buying it separately. It's kinda an odd model, but we imagine it will do pretty well for Rockstar in the long-run. As long as the cases are good, we'll probably keep buying them.
