As part of the PlayStation Network restoration process, the Sony Computer Entertainment president has released a video explaining the measures that the platform holder has taken to increase its network security, and also apologise for the length of time the service has been offline.

Sure, the video is a touch awkward, but then these kind of things always are. The good thing is that Kaz Hirai brings personality and a genuine sense of sincerity to a difficult situation. Hirai might be famous for his love of Ridge Racer and $599, but there's no doubt in our mind that the guy is a class act.
