inFamous 2: Fantastic By All Accounts.

In his 9.0 review of the game, Colin Moriarty (beyond!) explains that Sucker Punch's super-charged sequel is "stronger than its predecessor". Moriarty concludes: "Nothing exists in inFamous 2 just because, and that’s something developer Sucker Punch should be commended for. When combined with how well-executed just about everything in the game is, the overall package is one of PlayStation 3’s best and a must-play for fans of the first game."

Pretty good then. You can read IGN's review through here.

In addition to the review, IGN's confirmed that progress from the original inFamous will carry over into its sequel. This will be handled using trophies rather than game saves, so if you accidentally deleted your inFamous save data don't sweat it. The bonuses seem pretty minor, but it's always nice when games acknowledge your progress in previous iterations. Get the low down on that through here.
