Bad Times, Guys. Proper Bad Times.

Despite forum users demanding updates across the web, Patrick Seybold's latest blog post hasn't done much to appease those requesting information.

In his post, the communications gaffer outright acknowledged, "I don’t have an update or timeframe to share at this point in time". Whoops. Seybold added that the fix is a "time intensive process" and that Sony are working to get "back online quickly".

This is starting to become pretty damaging now, and with no real resolution in sight could be catastrophic. Five days without a fundamental component of the PS3s service is unthinkable in itself — to think this could escalate into weeks is frightening.

We're trying hard to maintain a positive mentality, but things get bleaker by the hour.
