The Showdown Between Sony And LG Continues.

You may remember LG was granted a preliminary injunction against Sony over an infringement on Blu-ray technology, but reports coming out of InsideGamer state that has now been lifted.

Latest reports suggested that 300,000 PlayStation 3 consoles had been seized and stored in Holland by the local authorities. Those systems have now been released, with LG apparently being hit by €130,000 fee to cover Sony's legal fees.

IP activist Florian Mueller did however caution: “This means Sony can resume the distribution of PlayStations across Europe for now, but there will be a full-fledged legal proceeding to determine whether there is an infringement – and if so, how much Sony owes LG for it.”
