A little bit. They are clearly a studio heavily passionate about the Transformers franchise and its lore. Their last game, Transformers: War For Cybertron, must have been a dream come true for everyone at the developer. A good Transformers game based on the characters and setting from the original anime series. But they've kinda fallen victim to their own success. Their next game, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, is still a Transformers game, but it's based on the latest movie. Just not quite the same is it?

We wonder what the mood at High Moon is like right now. On one hand, they get to continue working on the franchise they love. On the other hand, they're no longer involved with the origins of the series. Which is probably a bit of a kick in the teeth. Tying things into Michael Bay's next sure-to-be-huge blockbuster makes financial sense for both Activision and High Moon. But we doubt the War For Cybertron studio feel too brilliant about the situation...

We're sure they'll pull out all the stops to make an excellent game though. Can't be any worse than the last couple.
