Those still playing Activision's shooter online have found themselves susceptible to stat-hacks and various gameplay exploits. Seems like Infinity Ward's on the verge of regaining control though, with community manager Robert Bowling teasing the release of an imminent fix.
Good on Infinity Ward. The studio's presumably deeply involved in the development of their next game, and with Call Of Duty: Black Ops already on shelves, they might have been forgiven for leaving Modern Warfare 2 to rot. Sounds like they've taken measures to correct the problem, and they deserve some kudos for respecting their fans. Here's hoping the patch works.
