Try your hand at military tactics

Ubisoft's long-awaited strategy title R.U.S.E. was one of the first titles to receive a Move-enabling patch, but that's not the only thing amateur generals can download for the game, with free downloadable maps available from the PlayStation Network.

The Manhattan Project Pack was actually released on December 20th, but if it passed you by it's still available for nothing and contains three exclusive multiplayer maps, with two additional multiplayer modes as well. Not a bad little bundle considering it's completely free.

Visit the PlayStation Store to grab the Manhattan Project Pack, details of which are below, and have a read of our R.U.S.E. review for more on Ubisoft's take on military in motion.

Manhattan Project Pack:

The multiplayer maps will bring your armies in North African territories, Italy and in Holland:

  • Twilight of the Gods: North Africa, 2 vs 2
  • Vesuvio: Italy, 2 vs 2
  • Guns N’ Tulips: Holland, 3 vs 3

The online modes will affect strategy and pace of the battles.

  • "Nuclear war" will enable you to produce nuclear Long Tom cannons, with mutual nuclear threat involved.
  • In "Total War", the battle starts in 1939 and History advances every ten minutes, unlocking new units and technologies.
