SEGA Confirm Dreamcast Collection Package, Not Coming To The PlayStation 3 (Not Missing Much Either)

Remember our excitement for the retail Dreamcast Collection rumours late last year? Despite our anticipation for Shenmue and Jet Set Radio, we closed that story with the grounding statement, "Were going to assume the retail collection will just be a packaged compilation of the PSN titles though

Disappointment averted as SEGA's just confirmed that the Dreamcast Collection will be a compilation of the already-released-and-soon-to-be-released PlayStation Network ports: Sonic Adventure, SEGA Bass Fishing, Crazy Taxi and Space Channel 5: Part 2. All decent games but, why would we buy them on disc when they're being released digitally?

Want to know the best part? This isn't even coming to the PlayStation 3. No reason's given.

Can someone remind us the point of this collection? SEGA, you reading? What's the point?
