Dead Space: Extraction Blows Up PlayStation Network this Week

Posted by James Newton

What goes bump in the dark?

It's Dead Space overload this week, with Dead Space 2 landing on PlayStation 3 and the Move-enabled Dead Space: Extraction available to buy twice: once in the Dead Space 2: Limited Edition, and for download via PlayStation Network.

There's currently no price available for the game but with it being released in just a few days' time we'll have that information for you as soon as it arrives.

The original Dead Space: Extraction on Wii was extremely well-received, so we're sure this HD-remastered version will do just as well. Look out for our review available shortly.

I read Jon's review of the Wii game in anticipation for this too, and I played through the PSN demo of Dead Space 2 a couple of times as preparation for its UK release this Friday. My pre-order is in at Play.com for the Limited Edition, I think I will complete Extraction before I even start on Dead Space 2.

I was looking at the early 2011 PS Move launch calendar, and alongside Killzone 3, Dead Space: Extraction is a 'must have' purchase for me. I'm really looking forward to reading the Movemodo review of this one.
