Sony's Anton Mikhailov Reckons The PlayStation Move Would Be Ideal For A Star Wars Game.

Sony's R&D duo of Anton Mikhailov and Dr. Richard Marks have been nothing but professional in their discussion of Micrsoft's Kinect device over the past six months. But when it comes to Kinect Star Wars, Anton's got some strong opinions — mainly that it would be "damn better" on PlayStation Move.

Speaking about the possibility of a lightsaber game on PlayStation Move, Anton told Eurogamer: "I’m usually not very aggressive, but I will say [that Move Star Wars would] be damn better than Kinect could ever do.

“There’s no way Kinect can do a good lightsaber game. Just never. Unless they give you a stick. If they give you a stick then they can do OK, but then they’re going to ruin their whole no controller motto.

“I’ve seen the demo but it’s so scripted, and wasn’t it like, faked?”

We're not sure anyone can actually disagree. Like Anton says, unless Microsoft intend to bundle sticks with every copy of Kinect Star Wars, we're not sure the "controller-less" route is the way to go. While Anton iterated that he's not aware of any PlayStation Move Star Wars announcement, we sincerely hope it happens at some point in the future.
