In Yakuza 4 You'll Be Able To Go Dating Aswell As Beat Up Goons.

No-one likes getting half a game, but when it came to Yakuza 3 there was more than 50 hours worth of content still on the disc. The removal of hostess bars was a silly move by SEGA, something the publisher admits to. That's why they're being a lot smarter with the Western handling of Yakuza 4.

Speaking to Kotaku, SOA's community manager Aaron Webber confirmed that hostess clubs would return in the Western version of Yakuza 4, aswell as Mahjong and all the game's side-quests.

He did confirm that the Japanese quiz show portion of the game - Answer X Answer - will be cut due to the minigames use of 16-bit graphics. According to SEGA, the amount of work it would take to convert the sprites would push the game out of its Spring '11 release window. We think we can live without one tiny portion of the Japanese package.

We can't wait. Yakuza 3 was fantastic, and by all accounts Yakuza 4 is a step above. Now we're just wishing for word Of The End.
