If you've not got PlayStation Plus yet, you're going to want to rectify that oversight as quickly as possible: the Killzone 3 public beta is a-coming

It's pretty soon too - SCEE's slapped an October 25th date on the monumental PlayStation event.

PlayStation Plus members will do well to keep a keen eye on the premium section of the PlayStation Store when it updates next week — Sony will be slapping up a free Killzone 3 XMB theme. But the download will do more than make your PS3's dashboard look pretty - the first 10,000 users to download it will be granted access to the Killzone 3 beta when it kicks off on October 25th. You'll be emailed the entry code.
