The one question running through our mind was, "Why SEGA? Why would you do this?"

When SEGA revealed that initial Yakuza artwork, showing a wrecked and ruined Kamurocho we thought, "Oh cool. Perhaps there's been an earthquake or something and the Yakuza are trying to maintain order within a panicked city." But no. Zombies.

The news has been revealed in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine. And no, we're not making it up. Yakuza: Of The End will see Kazuma dispatching a horde of the undead who've taken over Kamurocho for no apparent reason. You'll be able to customise weapons and... WHAT!? Yakuza's always been a semi-serious, real world story. This just breaks our hearts. Why would you make this game?

We're literally seething.
