The Last Guardian may not be a commercial hit; but it could end up being the most important PlayStation 3 game because it offers identity to the platform. And that's why the game's Holiday 2011 release date is extremely important.

Sure, there's going to be a long wait ahead. But can anyone argue it's not going to be worth it?
