Mafia II's Topped The British Sales Charts, Despite Some Mixed Reviews.

So it's nice to see the game light-up the UK sales charts and finish up with the "biggest UK launch" accolade since Red Dead Redemption fourteen weeks ago. Take-Two won't mind, seeing as they published both games. According to Chart-Track, 41 percent of the games sales came from the PS3 SKU, while 52 were attributed to the XBOX 360 version. It's proof once more that the gap between multiformat sales on PS3 and 360 is decreasing.

Last week's winner, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, finished up in second place, after a week of price-cuts for IO's seedy shooter. Elsewhere, it's as you were. What's this Sniper: Ghost Warrior game that keeps floating in and out of the top ten. We've never even heard of it.
