John Daly's ProStroke Golf Might Not Be The Prettiest Representation Of The Sport, But The Controls Look Rad.

PlayStation Move can make games better. We have a fleeting interest in golf games, but we're not the type to sit anxiously waiting for our copy of Tiger Woods to arrive. That's mainly because golf games don't feel right with the controller. If there's any genre that benefits from motion control, it's golf.

Just slapping a swing mechanic on a golf game isn't enough though. John Daly's ProStroke Golf, a game that's been developed from the ground-up for Move, is making some smart choices. The first-person stroke mechanic, for example, gives you a good visual representation of your club, allowing you to utilise the accuracy of Move to hit fades, etc.

In fact, the swing mechanic looks so accurate it's probably going to be challenging for non-golf players to get into. But we can see this game having a serious impact on someone's real-life golfing ability. We just hope they tidy up some of the production.
