World At War's Zombie Mode Was More Popular Than The Game Itself.

The four maps included with the Hardened and Prestige editions of Black Ops are throw-backs to the original World At War zombie settings.

Original story: Treyarch's been pretty tight-lipped about the return of their popular zombie horde mode in Call Of Duty: Black Ops. We know the game's going to feature co-op in some form, but up until this point, we've been unsure about the form it'll take. The Canadian-arm of retailer Best Buy may have just spilled the zombie flavoured beans, however.

According to information on the website, which has now been pulled, both the Hardened and Prestige editions of Call Of Duty: Black Ops will include "four Zombie Maps Pack made famous from COD: World at War”.

Given how popular the mode was in Call Of Duty: World At War (probably moreso than the entire game itself), we can't see Treyarch ignoring their fan's requests. Expect it to be much less of an afterthought this time. Activision's keeping schtum about the mode, but we presume there'll be a trailer soon.
