Tactics Ogre's Jumping Into The 21st-Century, And Also Finally Getting A Western Release.

A bad one, we think. Either that, or a totally unbelievable one. Either way, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together has been confirmed for the PSP by Square Enix - and it's heading to the West.

The game's a PSP remake of Square's 1995 SNES title. It was never published in Europe. Square's enlisting on key members of the original game's team to make the remake totally awesome. Hiroshi Minagawa (director), Akihiko Yoshida (character designer), Yasumi Matsuno (game designer), Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata (composers) are all back on board.

The game'll feature reworked visuals, a rearranged soundtrack and much more to bring it into the 21st century.

It actually looks rather cool. Japanese gamers are very fond of the original, so it'll be great to finally get a chance to play it over here. There's a little more information over on the PlayStation Blog. Check it out. Good stuff.
