You know what the world needs? Yet another iteration on the original PSP hardware

Well, at least one Japanese retailer believes so, as they are showing a device called the PSP-4000 that's due out this year. Oh?

Literally no other details on this yet. Could it be an update to the current PSP hardware? Or perhaps it's that new PSP everyone except Sony appear to be talking about. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
