Not An Anime, Ni No Kuni's An Actual Video Game.

The game, which is also coming to the Nintendo DS, is the fruits of a colaboration between anime house, Studio Ghibli, and Professor Layton developers, Level 5. As of yesterday, we could only confirm that the game was coming to the PlayStation 3. Now we have screenshots, of which there are a handful more over at Kotaku.

The game was showcased last night in Tokyo. The impressions? Unbelievably beautiful. Many are comparing actual real-time footage of the game to a genuine anime. It's good then.

The game will hit Japanese PlayStation 3s next year.
